Norman Douglas Goldberg's Obituary
Norman Douglas Goldberg, 91, of North Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on October 10, 1934, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Norman began his career in the garment industry, working alongside his father. In 1972, he moved to South Florida, where he built a successful second career as a Realtor in Miami Beach. He took great pride in helping others and was known for his honesty, professionalism, and dedication.
Norman was the loving son of the late Henry (Moe) Goldberg and Irene Goldberg.
Norman was the beloved husband of Trina Goldberg, with whom he shared over 62 wonderful years of marriage. He was the cherished father of Susan Geffin and her husband, Alan; Linda Goldberg; and Michael Goldberg.
He was a proud grandfather to Dr. Ryan Geffin and his wife, Dr. Larissa Andrade Geffin; Alexis McCormick and her husband, Max McCormick; and Drew Geffin. His greatest joy in recent years was becoming a great-grandfather to Mia, Gio, and Charli, each of whom brought endless smiles to his heart.
Norman is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Lila Bronstein; his brother-in-law, Arthur Bronstein; and his sister-in-law, Janet Goldberg, the wife of his late brother Dr. Leonard Goldberg and his many nieces and nephews.
Norman had a passion for cruising throughout the Caribbean with his close friends. He enjoyed many afternoons playing cards and tennis, and he never missed an opportunity to capture life's special moments through photography. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, playful sense of humor, infectious smile, and genuine kindness. Meticulous in everything he did, Norman took pride in keeping things just right, a quality that became one of his trademarks. He had a remarkable gift for making people laugh and making everyone around him feel welcome.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
A Chapel Service will be held Sunday July 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Levitt-Weinstein Beth David Chapel located at 3201 N 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024.
Following Services , Shiva will be held after the services at the home of
Alan and Susan Geffin in Weston.
